Hi, I’m Janelle and I have over 5+ years of post-production experience! In high school, I taught myself how to video edit, splice sounds, and create text overlays through iMovie, and fell in love with the process. Since then, I have obtained a Bachelor of Arts in video production and have expanded my skillset to create custom animations and digitally create artwork from scratch.

 

I've used this to take on diverse range of projects. Some of my past positions include cutting website trailers for Playworks, crafting Anthony Bourdain style travel episodes for TASTE with Kevin Longa, generating social media content for Wish’s Instagram (7.1 million followers) and TikTok (766k followers), and creating YouTube video essays for TanTao Media.

I am continuously pushing my capabilities further by trying out new ways of video editing and animating, especially by drawing inspiration from video editing and animation I see in entertainment, commercials, and social media. Currently, I am excited by the animated intro sequences for The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Only Murders in the Building and will likely be working on a project for both of them soon.
